(Washington, DC) The Clinton Investigative Commission held its traditional Halloween haunting at the White House on Friday, October 30th, on the White House sidewalk across from Lafayette Park at 12 noon. Thousands of "mint" candies (symbolizing impeach'mint') were distributed to children and passers-by. CIC members and volunteers were dressed in full costume for their classic style of political street theatre. "Bill Clinton" was present and seen stealing candy from a 9-year-old girl. However, while evading the "criminals" and "ghosts" of his past, Mr. Clinton was unable to avoid the scolding of "Judge Susan Wright," who was also present. This event received favorable media coverage from FOX national news and the Washington Times. On Saturday, October 31st, thousands of impeachment supporters---including CIC members and volunteers---attended the Free Republic rally at the Washington Monument. Speakers who rallied the crowd included Rep. Bob Barr, Alan Keyes, Lucianne Goldberg and Larry Klayman. CIC was helpful in promoting this event over the internet. This event received extensive media coverage from C-Span, the Washington Post, the Washington Times, and other press outlets.
