CIC's conservative hero Jack Clayton made an emotional public plea to Senator Jesse Helms before a national audience recently to oppose liberal Paul Cellucci for Ambassador to Canada. Here is Mr. Clayton speaking to reporters outside the Foreign Relations Committee in the Senate. Helms announced later he would vote against Cellucci, while the Senate approved him. Clayton attacks Hillary Clinton's "Protecting Civil Rights for All Americans Act" (S. 19) in the latest CIC update.
