Should Clinton Be Pardoned???

This question is not a cruel joke. CIC sources report that, in the spirit of so-called “bi-partisanship,” top Republicans in Washington are already pushing for a full-pardon of President Clinton. The quixotic statement by Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-UT) favoring a Clinton pardon is only the tip of the iceberg. “It is an outrageous insult to the rule of law that President Bush would even consider a pardon,” says CIC’s Scott Lauf. “If Mr. Bush pardons Clinton, he will commit political suicide with every decent and honest American who ever voted for him.” CIC strongly urges supporters to take the following action:
  1. Sign CIC’s “No Pardon for Bill Clinton” Petition: Please click to http://www.conservativeaction.org/impeach/petition.shtml and encourage your friends and family to sign as well. CIC plans to deliver these petitions to President Bush.
  2. Contact Your Congressman & Senators: Express your opposition against a Clinton pardon. Let them know that justice and the rule of law should prevail, and that no one is above the law, especially the President. Please click to http://www.house.gov and http://www.senate.gov
  3. Tell Senator Hatch to Resign as Senate Judiciary Chairman: Sen. Hatch has disgraced himself, the U.S. Senate, and the Constitution he swore to uphold. Contact him at: (Dis)Honorable Orrin Hatch, 131 Russell Senate Office Building, Washington, DC 20510, (202) 224-5251 , (202) 224-6331 (fax) , senator_hatch@hatch.senate.gov

Help Save Ashcroft From Leftist Sabotage

Dozens of radical leftist organizations are succeeding in their smear campaign against Sen. John Ashcroft. Surprisingly, only 42 Republican Senators to date have pledged their support for his nomination to be Attorney General; 32 Democrats have come out against him; while the rest of the Senate is undecided. CIC urges supporters to e-mail the following selected fence-sitters and demand they restore real justice in America by confirming John Ashcroft: senator_chafee@chafee.senate.gov , Olympia@snowe.senate.gov , Vermont@jeffords.senate.gov , senator_specter@specter.senate.gov , http://miller.senate.gov/email.html

Is Bush’s New Labor Sec. Too Close To China?

After Linda Chavez’s nomination was deep-sixed by liberals and the media over her supposed “nannygate” problem, George W. Bush’s second nominee as Labor Secretary appears to be far worse. Elaine Chao, former deputy secretary of transportation under Bush, Sr. and wife to current Sen. Mitch McConnell, has close and personal ties to Chinese Dictator Jiang Zemin, according to an exclusive report by WorldNetDaily.com. She is also well-connected with Chinagate crook John Huang. Her father James C. Chao, who is a childhood friend of tyrant Zemin, runs the lucrative and shady shipping syndicate called Foremost Maritime Corp., which does business in communist China and other Asian countries. “It’s deeply disturbing that President Bush has chosen Ms. Chao to be in his cabinet,” says CIC’s Jack Clayton. “With the facts known, CIC has to oppose this nominee.” CIC asks supporters to call their Senators at 202-224-3121 and tell them to vote against this nomination.

Stop Democratic Vote Fraud

CIC has compiled a “Top Ten List” of how Democrats commit vote fraud, and a “Top Ten List” of recommended reforms which can stop it, both of which are posted on our home page at http://www.ConservativeAction.org . CIC plans to lobby the new 107th Congress to conduct investigations into the 2000 election vote fraud and enact legislation for real electoral reform. The sanctity of the 2002 and 2004 elections are at stake. Please stay in touch with us to learn how you can help in this endeavor.

Hillary Gets Powerful Ctee. Assignments

As a junior Senator, Hillary Clinton is sure getting her way. In addition to the Health, Education, Labor & Pensions Committee, Hillary will be assigned to two other powerful posts – the Senate Budget Committee and the Senate Environment & Public Works Committee. “She deserves to be relegated to the Indian Affairs Committee or the Special Committee on Aging where she could do little harm to this country,” comments CIC’s Steve Miroy. “Instead, she is given powerful positions where she’ll push a radical environmental agenda and fleece taxpayers with outrageous pork-barrel projects.”

Lott Surrenders The Senate

Sen. Trent Lott (R-MS), for all practical purposes, has abandoned GOP control of the Senate. Though committee chairmanships will still be Republican, this is in name only. Committee and subcommittee memberships, as well as staff and budgets, will be equally divided between the two parties. Legislation with tie-votes in the committees can be brought to the Senate floor for a vote by Sen. Tom Daschle (D-SD). This power-sharing arrangement was a compromise to stave off any Democratic Senators from challenging George Bush’s Electoral College votes, according to Lott. On January 6th when the electoral votes were being certified, the challenges of several House members of the Congressional Black Caucus failed because not one single Senator joined them in their protests, as required by the constitution.

Information On Bush Inauguration

The swearing-in ceremony of George W. Bush will commence at 11:30 am on Saturday, January 20th on the west steps of the U.S. Capitol. Visitors are recommended to take the metro to the Capitol South station and arrive early. Security will be unusually tight because of Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and a cadre of other leftist protestors who will congregate along the parade route on Pennsylvania Avenue. For information on tickets to bleacher seats and other inaugural events, please call (202) 484-1771 or visit http://www.inaugural-2001.org . A pro-Bush rally is being held at the Supreme Court (visit http://www.loudcitizen.com for more details).

Hillary-Gore In 2004?

A recent poll by Portrait of America of 1,000 registered Democrats revealed that Al Gore and Hillary Clinton are the top choices for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2004. Nearly 42% of respondents chose Gore as the next nominee while 27% chose Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton. Closing out the pack was Sen. Joe Lieberman at 5%; and Rep. Dick Gephardt, Sen. Tom Daschle, and Sen. John Kerry at a paltry 2%. CA Gov. Gray Davis registered at 1%. “Sympathy belies the Gore vote now, but it is stunning to see the numbers for Hillary,” says CIC’s Mike Davis. “It is clear she will be the presidential frontrunner in 2004.”

Hillary Already Raising $$ For 2004 Prez Run

Her Senate race against Rick Lazio may have just ended, but Hillary has just begun raising money for her 2004 presidential bid. Senator Clinton has just registered “Friends of Hillary” with the FEC as her official fundraising vehicle. Money she rakes in can be exclusively used for whatever office she decides to run for – president in 2004, which is likely, or another Senate re-election campaign in 2006.

Will Sen. Specter Defect To The Dems.?

Will liberal Republican Senator Arlen Specter live up to his nickname “Specter the Defector?” The current buzz on Capitol Hill has Arlen Specter switching parties and thus giving the Democrats full control of the Senate. It should be recalled that Specter was one of the few traitor Republicans who voted against Clinton’s impeachment in 1999. The Democrats are also praying that 98-year-old Republican Senator Strom Thurmond dies soon so that the Democratic Governor of South Carolina will appoint a new Democrat to the Senate.

Don’t Just Cut Taxes, Abolish Them!

President-elect Bush’s $1.3 trillion tax cut plan over 10 years is a welcoming move for many Americans after eight years of Clinton tax hikes. However, this action is hardly enough to avert an expected recession this year. “The time is now to abolish the income tax and eliminate all taxes on small businesses,” says CIC’s Scott Lauf. “This should be coupled with drastic cuts in federal spending.” Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) will be introducing a bill in the House Banking & Financial Services Committee to abolish the income tax. CIC urges supporters to e-mail the following selected committee members and ask them to co-sponsor this legislation: Barr.GA@mail.house.gov , bobney@mail.house.gov , ca39@legislators.com (Ed Royce) , wa02@legislators.com (Jack Metcalf).

Will Bush Excuse Chinagate Crimes?

At a recent legal conference in Washington about reforming the Department of Justice, former Attorney General Dick Thornburgh (under George Bush, Sr.) revealed that President-elect Bush may want to close the books on Chinagate and any wrongdoing by Clinton administration officials. “This is a terrible sign for a new president who says he wants to restore honesty and integrity back into the White House,” says CIC’s Jack Clayton. Stay tuned with CIC for more information on this “transition” cover-up http://www.ConservativeAction.org

Clinton Issues Another Imperial E.O.

President Clinton has signed another insane Executive Order stealing more land for the federal government, this time protecting migratory birds on so-called “wetlands.” Clinton’s action flies in the face of the recent Supreme Court ruling that stated that the Clean Water Act could not be used to prevent suburbs in Chicago from building a landfill over some dirty ponds.

Help Reverse Clinton’s Land Grabs

While President-elect Bush has indicated he will consider reversing some of Clinton’s land grabs, some Congressmen are not waiting. Rep. James Hansen (R-UT), chairman of the House Resources subcommittee on national parks, has already begun outlining a strategy to roll back or eliminate altogether Clinton’s national monument designations, and he is inviting legislation from his colleagues. CIC members should e-mail the following western Congressmen: mike.simpson@mail.house.gov , mail.gibbons@mail.house.gov , cannon.ut03@mail.house.gov , mtal@legislators.com , wa04@legislators.com , wa02@legislators.com , tom.tancredo@mail.house.gov

Asian Crook & Clinton Buddy Pleads Guilty

Indonesian billionaire James Riady has agreed to plead guilty to funneling illegal foreign cash into Bill Clinton’s 1996 campaign fund and will pay a $8.6 million criminal fine. Riady is well-known for his international criminal enterprises and his close personal and financial relationship with Bill Clinton. “Riady’s plea confirms what we have all known about Chinagate,” comments CIC’s Jack Clayton. “However, his punishment is pocket change. This tycoon is a crook and should be in jail – along with Bill Clinton!”

Ins Officials Destroyed Elian Documents

Destroying damaging evidence and instituting cover-ups has been an everyday practice in the Clinton administration. The latest disclosure comes from Florida lawyer Donald Appignani, whose clients are INS whistleblowers. He has evidence that INS officer Mario Cavallo gave explicit instructions to workers to destroy any documents on Elian Gonzalez that could prove to be embarrassing to the Clinton White House. Mr. Cavallo, of course, was acting on direct orders from Janet Reno and Doris Meissner. CIC believes Congress should investigate. Contact Rep. F. James Sensenbrenner, the new chair of the House Judiciary Committee, at sensen09@mail.house.gov

White House Computer Files Deleted

Bill Clinton is cleaning house more ways than one, before he’s forced to exit his presidential fortress of corruption. According to Judicial Watch, Clinton officials have been “wiping clean” all the hard drives of White House computers before President Bush takes office. “If only the ‘mainstream’ media could record this destruction of evidence as presidential history,” laments CIC’s Steve Miroy. “This is ten times worse than Watergate.”

Liberals Eat Their Own Chads: Bush Wins!!

Numerous liberal media outlets conducting their own “manual recounts” in Florida have been hoping that Al Gore will “finally” win the election. To their dismay, though, the Palm Beach Post reports that if all those questionable dimpled and hanging chad ballots were counted, George W. Bush would have won! In Miami-Dade County, at least, it appears that Bush garnered 251 votes to Gore’s 245.

Vince Foster Photo Release – Partial Cover-Up??

U.S. District Court Judge Bill Keller of central California ordered the release of five of ten Polaroid photographs of Vince Foster’s murdered corpse from 1993, acceding to a FOIA request by attorney Allan Favish. Unfortunately, the most important photos excluded from the order were ones of Mr. Foster’s upper torso and head.

Clinton-Gore Reward Criminals w/ SSI Benefits

Another memorable legacy of the Clinton-Gore administration is the payout of over $683 million in Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and other Social Security benefits to criminal fugitives, according to a recent report by Fox News. In the last four years, the Clinton-run Social Security Administration knowingly gave hundreds of millions of federal tax dollars to over 25,000 criminals. CIC is demanding an official congressional and criminal investigation. Please contact the House Appropriations Committee at 202-225-2771 or http://www.house.gov/appropriations/

Census 2000 May Redefine Next Congress

Official numbers from the 2000 Census have revealed that the current U.S. population has grown to a whopping 280 million people, due mostly to immigration in the last 10 years. States like California, Arizona, Texas, Georgia and Florida will gain new seats in the U.S. House while New York and Pennsylvania will lose seats. President-elect Bush will have the option this year to release controversial “sampling” methods favored by the Democrats which would give them additional seats. However, the constitution only prescribes for an accurate head count of U.S. citizens. CIC opposes all sampling methods and urges supporters to tell Bush not to cave in to Democratic pressure. Please e-mail him at mail@georgebush.com or advice@bushcheneytransition.com

New Evidence In Ron Brown Plane Crash

A handgun which was carried by a bodyguard protecting the late Commerce Secretary Ron Brown was never recovered from the 1996 crash site in Croatia, according to a top-secret Commerce Department report which was obtained by WorldNetDaily.com. Following the plane crash, four pathologists who observed Brown’s body came forward and disclosed that Brown had been shot in the head.

Rape Victim Vows To Testify Against Clinton

Juanita Broaddrick, the woman who was viciously raped by then-Arkansas Governor Bill Clinton in 1978, has said she is willing to cooperate with the Independent Counsel which will decide shortly whether to indict Clinton on perjury and obstruction of justice charges. Though Robert Ray has yet to call on her, she has expressed her willingness to testify. On a similar note, Gennifer Flowers has acknowledged that Ray’s office contacted her and requested original taped recordings of a 1991 phone conversation in which Clinton urged Flowers to commit perjury.

Clinton To Get $7.29 M. Lifetime Pension

For all of his crimes and corruption against the people of America, Clinton gets to reap a hefty reward from taxpayers: a $7.29 million pension estimated for the rest of his life, according to a recent report by the National Taxpayers Union. “Clinton has been impeached and held in contempt of court,” says CIC’s Scott Lauf. “Perhaps Congress needs to amend the laws for elected officials by stripping the pensions of those who are criminals.”

Military Gives Clinton Farewell (Snub)

President Clinton and Hillary were given a farewell ceremony recently at Ft. Myer by the Defense Secretary William Cohen and 100 members of the Armed Forces representing all ranks. Before the ceremony, the Pentagon brass put out a memo seeking “volunteers” to participate in the ceremony. Not surprisingly, there were no takers, so department supervisors were “ordered” to select “volunteers” to attend the event.

Clinton Takes Parting Potshots At GOP

Clinton can’t help himself. He’s mean, nasty, vindictive – and a sore loser. At a recent event before the sleazy Bill Daley in Chicago, Clinton had the audacity to slam the Republicans and Bush by saying that the only reason they won was because they stopped the voting in Florida. And, of course, he declared Gore the real victor. No doubt, when the liberal media gets done with its “manual recounts,” it too will be crowning Gore the winner, and we’ll be sure to be hearing from Clinton again.

Bad Boy Tenant Won’t Go Away!

Like a cockroach, we want him to just go away. But he won’t. He’s Bill Clinton. He’s a former president, and he thinks he’s “special.” That is why he is establishing his post-prez office within the White House complex – a townhouse on Jackson Place across the street from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue – but within shouting distance of his former home. It’s still unclear whether taxpayers will pick up the tab on these new office digs. However, on a related front, Mr. Clinton has also found new “offices” in New York City at 156 West 57th St.
