CIC Condemns “Violence Against Liberal Women Act”
Demonstrate in Front of White House, 11:30 AM, Wed. March 24
A large costumed pig wearing a Clinton mask will be confronted by
a woman wearing a Hillary Mask. Hillary will carry a sign that says
“Put All Pigs In Jail, Except My Husband, Bill”. CIC’s spokesperson
Linda Whitman says “Congressional liberals backing HR 357 (Violence
Against Women Act) are paying off liberal women. If they were
sincere, they would put Bill Clinton in jail and not just men who abuse
only liberal women. It seems Hillary and company ignore violence
when it is committed against non-liberals.”
CIC’s Whitman asks supporters to follow up on Sam Donaldson’s
question at the President’s News Conference: “Did you rape Juanita
Broaderick, Mr. President?” Bill Clinton refused to answer by referring
to his lawyer’s statements on the topic. Hold posters at noon on Wednesday
March 24 at 11:30 a.m. in front of the White House in Washington, D.C.
D.C., or your local city hall, saying “End Violence Against Women by
Clinton”.
And in other cities, CIC’s Linda Whitman says "CIC supporters should
condemn HR 357 as a charade to pass bad legislation that federalizes
the feminist-declared war between the sexes with Hillary Clinton and
Janet Reno leading the charge.”
*WILL CLINTON ‘WAG THE DOG’ AGAIN?
As tensions continue to mount in Kosovo, President Clinton has again
threatened NATO air strikes and deployment of U.S. troops against the
Serbs. Having little regard for the national interest of the United States,
Clinton may bomb the Balkans anyway in the coming
weeks for the same reason he bombed Iraq, Sudan and
Afghanistan last year --- to divert public attention from his troubles
at home….this time from the brewing Chinese scandal... it would make
more sense to bomb China for being a nuclear threat to the US .
*MOMENT OF COURAGE FOR CONGRESS, OR ANOTHER CLINTON COVER-UP?
The shocking revelations of Chinese espionage and White House treason
continue to have reverberations on Capitol Hill with three Congressional
Committees actively investigating. But the real battle over whether this
could lead to another impeachment inquiry may
lie in the still-classified Cox Report (http://www.house.gov/chriscox/),
which contains a damaging assessment of the Clinton Administration.
The American people have a right to know what is in this report!
Congress has until April 1 to approve its public release. Secret
negotiations are now taking place between the White House and top GOP
Hill leaders over what material should be excluded from the public eye.
However, CIC predicts the negotiations will fail, so expect the bombs to
start falling. The news headlines, written by Bill’s media friends, of Clinton’s
new-found battle in Kosovo will overshadow Congress’ battle to debate and
vote on its own released version before their April 1 recess date. CIC’s
Scott Lauf urges all supporters to contact their Congressman and ask him to
support a full disclosure of the report
(http://www.impeachclinton.org/resources.php?article=contact).
*AN INSIDE VIEW OF CHINAGATE
For an in-depth analysis of the developing Chinagate scandal, please
look for the latest commentary from CIC’s own D.J. McGuire at
http://www.impeachclinton.org/news/1999/coddling.html . “Bill Clinton has
allowed a government whose outward policies have challenged American
power….to a position unmatched by any other hostile nation since the
Soviet Union began its slow surrender in 1987," pens McGuire.
*INDICT THE CLINTONS FOR BRIBERY
It’s been hard to predict the outcome of the lackluster investigations
of Independent Counsel Ken Starr, but the ongoing trial of Susan
McDougal could pose major problems for the First Couple. The infamous
$27,000 cashier’s check made out directly to Clinton is being showcased
by Starr’s prosecutors. While it is McDougal who is being targeted for
contempt and obstruction charges, it is Clintons who should be indicted
for bribery (and perjury for lying under oath about it). “This is the
clearest evidence yet of criminal wrongdoing by Bill & Hillary Clinton
in the Whitewater affair,” says CIC’s Steve Miroy. “Should Starr fail
to indict them, his integrity and reputation will be tarnished forever.”
*3RD TERM FOR CLINTON IN 2000?
Scary thought, but not impossible. Two bills have been introduced in
the House by pro-Clinton Congressmen to abolish the 22nd amendment of
the constitution --- which, if passed into law in this congressional
session, could allow Bill Clinton to run for a third term as President!
H.J. Res. 24, sponsored by homosexual Rep. Barney Frank (D-MA), and H.J.
Res. 17, sponsored by Rep. Chris Shays (R-CT) and Rep. Jose Serrano
(D-NY), seek to lift the two-term limits currently imposed upon the
president. Both resolutions have been referred to the Subcommittee on
the Constitution of the House Judiciary Committee. CIC’s Jack Clayton
urges supporters to contact Rep. Charles Canady (D-FL), chairman of the
subcommittee, to express your opposition to any hearings on these
resolutions (#202-225-1252 / Rep.Charles.Canady@mail.house.gov)
*CLINTON TRIES TO CRASH DIMAGGIO FUNERAL
Never to miss a golden opportunity to get good press on the nightly
news, President Clinton invited himself to the funeral of baseball
legend Joe DiMaggio, who passed away recently at the age of 84. But the
DiMaggio family was outraged and told Clinton he wasn’t welcome. Had
Clinton attended, America would have gotten a stellar performance ---
tears and all. Clinton has long exploited the deaths of friends, foes,
celebrities --- even his own mother --- for his own selfish public
relations purposes. Remember Ron Brown? When he was attending Brown’s
eulogy, Clinton was seen laughing it up with an aide. When Clinton
noticed a camera was picking him up, he instantly turned on the tears
and began wiping his eyes. This was vintage Clinton.
CIC sends its condolences and kudos to the DiMaggio family. They
bravely resisted the power of Bill Clinton. In times of grief and
bereavement, the memory of the “Yankee Clipper” was cherished --- not
dishonored by the President of the United States.
*GORE GAFFES THAT MAKE QUAYLE LOOK LIKE A GENIUS
When Dan Quayle misspelled ‘potato,’ the liberal press constantly
reminded Americans of this silly mistake. But when Vice President Al
Gore has uttered outrageous gaffes, the media is silent.
--In a recent interview Gore boasted that he invented the Internet,
which has surprised many in Washington to know that the he was really a
secret computer whiz for all these years. (Check out webmaster Jim
Huber’s latest cartoon on the subject at the bottom of our homepage
