April 19, 2000 Waco and OKC Anniversary
Happy Easter and Passover!
WALL STREET JOURNAL HEADLINES CIC TODAY
The Wall Street Journal today reported, on their front page, how CIC
is working to impeach President Clinton again. Excerpts will be posted
on our website. Linda' Tripp's defender Lucianne Goldberg gave
CIC a plug on her website and nationally syndicated radio host
Bob Grant interviewed CIC on his live broadcast. Your support makes
this progress possible, so please stay subscribed. CIC asks you send
letters to the WSJ saying "Thanks for the story on CIC, Americans
oppose Clinton and want to hold him and Congress accountable for his
removal this election year."

ABOLISH THE IMF & WORLD BANK
CIC members recently added their voices of opposition to the IMF and
World Bank. CIC members, dressed in blue-and-white colonial garb,
distributed flyers, w/ attached tea bags, stating: "Remember the
Boston Tea Party. Stop fleecing the American taxpayer. Abolish the IMF &
World Bank!" This was peaceful street theater. The violent
and disruptive groups represent bad political street theater. Over 70
blocks of downtown Washington were closed off Monday and over 1,300
total arrest were made. "While all of us in the streets share
opposition to these globalist institutions, CIC's message is distinct
and resonates with most Americans," says CIC spokeswoman Linda Whitman,
and, "The Clinton White House continues to pick our pockets to pay for
these socialist organizations."
CLINTON, GORE TAKE IN $2.5 M. IN TINSELTOWN
After raking in $2 million from liberal techies in Silicon Valley, both
Bill Clinton and Al Gore publicly appeared together for the first time
in months at a recent fundraiser at the Greystone Mansion in Beverly
Hills. Homosexual billionaire David Geffen, producer/director Steven
Spielberg, and numerous other liberal Hollywood bigwigs forked over
more than $2.5 million for the Democratic National Committee.
TENSIONS HIGH OVER ELIAN'S FATE
U.S. Appeals Court gave refugee Elian Gonzalez a stay from Janet Reno's
desire to ship him to Cuba. The White House and Justice Department
were keeping U.S. Marshals on call to forcibly seize Elian at
a moments notice, pending that ruling.
Here in Washington, pro-Elian demonstrators, outside
the Cuban home where the father is staying, were recently assaulted by
Cuban diplomats who are now under investigation by DC police. And in a
shocking gesture even for the reporters present, Juan Miguel flipped
them an obscene gesture. A conservative group sponsored a Fidel Castro
actor who handed out chocalate cigars holding a sign "It's a Boy! Have
a Cigar" nearby.
WORSHIP AL GORE ON EARTH DAY
The 30th Earth Day on April 22 promises to be a special occasion for
Vice President Al Gore. Coinciding with all the extremist events and
hoopla, Gore's controversial 1992 book "Earth in Balance" will be
re-released for public consumption. In his tome Gore advocates the
abolition of the internal combustion engine and offers apocalyptic
warnings about greenhouse gases and rising sea levels. Gore believes
the greenie vote is crucial for his campaign.
Arm Clinton Rape Victims?
JUANITA BRODERICK COULD HAVE USED A GUN
On Mother's Day, May 14 of this year, the "Million Mom March" will
try to convince our Congress that America needs MORE restrictions
on our personal freedom.
CIC's own Melinda Gierisch, contact her at gieriscm@hotmail.com , is
defending Clinton's victims and the Second Amendment with a project
called CIC's Second Amendment Sisters. Pro-Clinton lobbies and
anti-Second Amendment forces, such as Handgun Control Inc., are
determined to take the right to self-defense out of
the hands of American families and women. CIC's Gierisch plans to
counter the "Million Moms" with "WE Believe Juanita Broderick… should
be armed!" posters .CIC's Gierisch is calling it CIC's ARMED INFORMED
MOTHERS' MARCH (AIM March). Join Melinda on Mothers' Day,
SUNDAY MAY 14, 2000, on the northwest corner of the Washington
Monument grounds at 9 A.M. (All local and federal laws will be
followed and adhered to, A permit has been granted for this location)
REMEMBER WACO MASSACRE
April 19, 2000 is the seven year anniversary of the Waco massacre where
the Clinton White House slaughtered over 86 men, women and children of
the Branch Davidian church. CIC’s asks all supporters to remember
these victims; to pray for their families; and to reflect upon the continuing
dangers the Clinton administration poses to our rights and livelihood.
Those living in the Washington metropolitan area are invited to
participate in a vigil on April 19th in front of the Supreme Court from
12-1 pm. For more information, please call Carol Moore at 202-635-3739.
HILLARY THREATENS INDEPENDENT COUNSEL
When asked whether she would take a pardon if indicted by the
independent counsel, Hillary vehemently stated that the Office of
Independent Counsel “wouldn’t dare indict me,” according to a recent
disclosure of a 1997 conversation with former Clinton aide Dick Morris.
Hillary did vow she would never accept a pardon, and that she would “go
into court and beat him.” CIC’s Linda Whitman comments: “Underlying
Hillary’s confidence at beating the rap is the fact that her statements
and behind-the-scenes actions are really veiled threats of reprisal
against any prosecutor in this country.” On a similar note, President
Clinton has also said that he would not ask nor accept a pardon if Al
Gore was elected president, nor would he pardon himself. (Yeah.
Right.)
GINGRICH PREDICTS HILLARY VICTORY
Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich has predicted that Hillary
Clinton will “easily beat” Rudy Giuliani in the New York Senate race.
He also predicted, as CIC did months ago, that Hillary will run for
president in 2004 if Al Gore loses this November. As a victim himself
of Clinton-style “politics of personal destruction,” Gingrich clearly
understands what Giuliani is running against, despite the fact that
Rudy has raised almost $20 million for his upcoming battle.
WILL RUDY BE CHALLENGED IN GOP PRIMARY?
The most recent Zogby poll may be showing Giuliani bouncing back to a
dead heat in his Senate race with Hillary Clinton, but speculation is
swirling around New York state over whether Rep. Rick Lazio (R-NY) may
enter the fray to challenge him in the GOP primary. Time is running
out for both contenders, and neither has “officially” announced. Further
complicating Giuliani’s prospects is the fact that New York’s
Conservative Party has so far refused to endorse him. No Republican
candidate has won statewide since 1974 without the party’s endorsement.
If Lazio was the GOP nominee, he could prove to be a far more
formidable candidate against Hillary,” says CIC’s Linda Whitman.
CLINTON ABUSES POWERS TO HELP WIFE, GORE
The U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, run by highly partisan Clinton
appointees, have drafted scathing reports against three top
Republicans. The commission has publicly attacked the “civil rights”
records of Mayor Rudy Giuliani, and Governors George and Jeb Bush.
“The timing and targets of these reports is not coincidental,” states CIC’s
Steve Miroy. “This commission is acting on orders from the White
House. It is illegally aiding the campaigns of Al Gore and Hillary
Clinton by trashing their opponents.” CIC is urging all supporters to
contact the Federal Election Commission (FEC) at internetnoi@fec.gov
and demand an investigation.
CLINTON GIVES RENO SWEEPING MILITARY POWERS
In an unprecedented move, President Clinton has stripped Secretary of
Defense Bill Cohen of critical defense and emergency powers during
times of nuclear, chemical or biological attack, and ceded them to Attorney
General Janet Reno. In a recent White House memo released to the
press, Mr. Clinton stated: “Under the authority vested in me by the
constitution and the laws of the United States, I designate the
Attorney General to replace the Secretary of Defense as the lead Federal
official” to carry out the Emergency Response Assistance Program.
COMMITTEE FOCUSES ON GORE
The constitution subcommittee of the House Judiciary Committee is
expected to submit a subpoena demanding Justice Department documents
which implicate Vice President Al Gore in the 1996 fundraising scandal.
Janet Reno is engaging in her usual stonewalls by refusing to turn over
memos from former Justice official Charles LaBella and FBI Director
Louis Freeh which hold incriminating evidence of Al Gore’s criminal
conduct. Though Congress is on Easter recess, CIC’s Jack Clayton is
urging supporters to e-mail Rep. Charles Canady (R-FL), subcommittee
chairman, at rep.charles.canady@mail.house.gov and demand that he
issues all relevant subpoenas and to hold full hearings into the matter.
CLINTON SEIZES MORE LAND OUT WEST
Once again violating the rights of states and individuals, President
Clinton has federalized another 328,000 acres of forest in the Sierra
Nevada mountains. Though hiking and horseback riding will be allowed
in these areas, off-road vehicle use and mining and logging will be
banned. Before his term expires, Clinton is planning at least four
more major land grabs in Oregon, Montana and New Mexico.
