CIC AT GOP AND DEM CONVENTIONS
CIC volunteers attended the Republican Convention in Philadelphia and
staged numerous peaceful street theatre productions for the delegates.
CIC volunteers have arrived today in Los Angeles at the Staples Center
to stage anti-Clinton activities.
CIC AT A HILLARY HOBNOB IN NYC
Members of CIC observed a recent Hillary fundraiser in New York City,
(CIC gave no donation). "The American people need to know that
Hillary is the ultimate elitist and is running a phony campaign," says
CIC’s Scott Lauf. "We went to this fundraiser because Hillary’s
staffers told us they do not allow the public to attend her regular
campaign events. Her media appearances on TV and in newspapers are
contrived. Her ‘fans’ are not average New Yorkers, but wealthy donors,
hand-picked staffers and Democratic operatives, Lauf said." This
fundraiser is rather typical of Hillary’s elitist style. Hillary
arrived in a motorcade of six taxpayer-funded Secret Service
automobiles. Doors and corridors were sealed off. It was impossible
for Hillary fans, or critics, to greet her as she passed through.
CLINTON RAPED BROADDRICK TWICE!
New Impeachment Book to Name Names on Capitol Hill!
In a stunning admission during a recent radio interview, Rep. Chris
Shays (R-CT) said that President Clinton had raped Juanita Broaddrick
not once but twice! Congressman Shays, who actually voted against
Clinton’s impeachment, reviewed the infamous FBI and OIC documents on
Broaddrick, which were stored under lock-and-key in the Ford House
Office Building during the impeachment debate. Only members of Congress
had access to these documents. Dozens of Representatives reviewed
them, but no Senators. Whether is was a media gaffe or not, kudos go to
Rep. Shays who is now on public record saying: "I believe that he
[Clinton] did rape Broaddrick." The question now is: how many other
members of Congress will come forward? David Schippers’ new book
"Sellout: The Inside Story on President Clinton’s Impeachment" (due out
September 1st) provides an explanation and is likely to be a bombshell
on Capitol Hill. It should be recalled that CIC was one of the first
national organizations to demonstrate in defense of Juanita Broaddrick

HELP STOP CLINTON’s "CARNIVORE" MACHINE
As CIC reported in our last broadcast, Clinton’s FBI has been using a
sophisticated device to monitor the e-mails of American citizens.
Finally, the Republicans on Capitol Hill took notice to this illegal
intrusion of privacy and held congressional hearings before their August
recess. Rep. Bob Barr (R-GA) is now drafting a resolution to reign in
the FBI. CIC encourages supporters to contact their Congressman and
Senators and ask them to support the FBI "anti-snooping bill."

GOP LEADER SELLS OUT TO CHINA
It was bad enough that the House of Representatives caved in to the Red
China lobby and approved the PNTR trade bill in May. Now Chinese
communist lobbyist Nancy Dorn has been hired to be House Speaker Dennis
Hastert’s top staffer on national security! In her new position, Ms.
Dorn will now have access to classified information of U.S. intelligence
operations. CIC demands that Ms. Dorn be fired immediately. Please
e-mail Speaker Hastert at dhastert@mail.house.gov.
In related news, the
House recently defeated a new measure which would have revoked May’s
PNTR House vote. The Senate is expected to debate (under cloture) and
vote on PNTR in September.
LIEBERMAN PROVIDED COVER FOR SENATE DEMS
Al Gore’s vice presidential pick Sen. Joseph Lieberman (D-CT)
has been touted as a "moral moderate" because of his Orthodox Jewish
roots. During the impeachment debate on Capitol Hill, Sen. Lieberman
gave a powerfully critical speech of Bill Clinton, a speech which
convinced many that he would lead the charge for disenchanted Democrats
in the Senate to vote for Bill Clinton’s removal. Instead, Lieberman
provided cover for the Democrats to push for "censure." Ultimately,
Lieberman and all his fellow Democrats caved in and saved Bill Clinton.
CIC condemned "censure" at the time and CIC observes that this VP pick
is all about Gore trying to distance himself from an impeached Clinton.
Republicans who refuse to bring up impeachment are cutting their own
throats since even Al Gore is now hurting politically and this move is
logically seen as acknowledgement that CIC's frequent "impeach clinton
again" events have helped keep the issue alive.
GOP DELEGATES SAY SENATE FAILED IN REMOVING CLINTON
In a poll conducted at the GOP convention in Philadelphia, 84% of the
delegates said that Bill Clinton should have been removed from office by
the U.S. Senate during his impeachment trial. Only 7% disagreed; and 9%
had no opinion. It is clear that the national sentiment against Bill
Clinton, and to a lesser extent Al Gore, is a greater phenomenon now
than in 1999. "Republicans want more than just a new president; they
still want accountability for the crimes the Clinton White House has
committed," says CIC’s Mike Davis.
WHAT’s IN STORE AT THE DEM. CONVENTION?
While the Democratic Party prepares for an ultra-liberal bash featuring
Bill & Hillary Clinton and Rosie O’Donnell as keynote speakers, the city
of Los Angeles is preparing for the possibility of "terrorist attacks"
and violence, and is stocking up on gas masks, rubber bullets and pepper
spray. Los Angeles is expecting five times more demonstrators than were
present at the GOP convention. The DNC has back-up plans for delegates
to participate in convention proceedings via computer link from their
hotels should they be prevented by protestors or anarchists from
entering the convention hall.
GORE, DEMS PROFIT FROM SMUT DOLLARS
During the Democratic Convention there will be the typical celebrity
love-fest fundraisers, including one at the infamous mansion of Playboy
magazine magnate Hugh Hefner. Publicly, Al Gore claims that he does not
approve of this fundraiser. Privately, he condones it because it raises
big bucks for the DNC. Already, it has been reported, he has accepted
$8,500 from both Hugh Hefner and his daughter for his past campaigns,
and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has received over
$26,000 in the last four years. "Gore is a moral hypocrite," says CIC’s
Jack Clayton.
GORE LINKED TO INDONESIAN CROOK RIADY
In a 1995 video of an illegal fundraiser at the White House, Al Gore is
overheard telling an Indonesian associate of billionaire-criminal James
Riady: "We ought to show Riady the tapes, some of the [campaign] ad
tapes." The video was subpoenaed by and turned over to the House
Government Reform Committee. This new evidence clearly illustrates
Gore’s intimate role in Chinagate and reveals a foreign crook buying
access to the Clinton-Gore ’96 campaign. In related news, federal
investigators at the Justice Department are claiming to be looking into
Mr. Clinton’s ties to James Riady. In a calculated political move to
deflect the media before the Democratic convention, Clinton recently
released a 155-page transcript of his April testimony to a federal
campaign task force in which he denies ever knowing that Riady made a $1
million promise to his campaign.
OFFICIAL COVER-UP: BILL/HILLARY ‘NOT GUILTY’ IN FILEGATE
In a not-so-surprising decision by Independent Counsel Robert Ray, the
OIC’s "final" report on Filegate completely exonerates Bill & Hillary
Clinton for their role in illegally compiling over 1,000 FBI files on
former Bush and Reagan staffers. "The tentacles of official Clinton
corruption have tainted every avenue of justice and accountability,"
says CIC’s Jack Clayton. "As CIC has always suspected, Robert Ray is a
grand stooge of the Clinton White House." Mr. Ray’s report dismissed
hard evidence of Craig Livingstone’s relationship with Hillary;
photographs of the two together; documents showing that Livingstone
helped arranged Vince Foster’s funeral; and the admission by Anthony
Marceca (who assisted Livingstone in collecting the FBI files) that he
lied to Congress about his role in the crime. Mr. Ray also exonerated
partner-in-crime Bernard Nussbaum, who is now a top adviser to Hillary’s
Senate campaign. In related news, the massive class-action Filegate
lawsuit against the Clintons continues and there have been several
evidentiary hearings in the case.
WHITE HOUSE ‘INTIMIDATES’ MISS AMERICA
Miss America Heather French has claimed that Clinton official Espiridion
Borrego, an assistant secretary of labor, and two other Labor Department
officials, pressured her to change her testimony on veterans’ issues
before a congressional committee. The House Veterans’ Affairs
subcommittee is investigating the charges. Ms. French is the daughter
of a Marine veteran and has made homeless veterans’ her cause. She
disagrees with the White House over veteran service provisions in H.R. 4765.
WH TARGETS ANOTHER WHISTLEBLOWER
After the FEC shafted Chinagate figure Johnny Chung, Clinton’s FBI is
investigating Notra Trulock, an Energy Department official who blew the
whistle on Chinese espionage at the Los Alamos nuclear laboratories.
FBI agents invaded Trulock’s home recently and seized his personal
computer. It is still unclear whether the FBI had a legal search
warrant. This action was in response to Mr. Trulock’s recent article in
the National Review magazine critical of the Clinton administration.
Mr. Trulock has filed a lawsuit against the FBI for his violation of
property and civil rights.
TOP HILLARY DONOR IMPORTS CHINESE SEX SLAVES
David Pryor, longtime friend of the Clintons and a former Senator of
Arkansas, allegedly protected his criminal friend David Jones from
prosecution in 1992. Jones is currently on trial in Little Rock for
importing Chinese prostitutes into the state. Mr. Pryor, who founded
the Clinton’s legal defense fund, has given $1,000 to Hillary’s
campaign. He also serves as a trustee of the Clinton Presidential Library.
HILLARY WITHOLDS TRAVEL COSTS
Despite formal requests by the House Appropriations Committee, Hillary
has failed to publicly disclose the complete costs of her
taxpayer-funded travel and has delayed reimbursing the government. So
far, Hillary has only disclosed a total of $925,076 and has only
reimbursed the government for $145,611. "The real costs are ten times
this amount!" says CIC, who is calling upon supporters
to contact members of the Appropriations Committee and demand further
investigations. http://www.house.gov/appropriations
CLINTON DELAYS DISBARMENT PROCEEDINGS
President Clinton has asked for, and received, by a federal judge a
30-day extension to file a response in his disbarment case. "It’s so
typical of Clinton to do anything to delay his own accountability," says
CIC’s Steve Miroy. "Clinton is attempting to push this case late into
2001 hoping the American people won’t care anymore."
CLINTON IS UNWELCOME IN HOME STATE
By a 47% to 42% margin, a recent poll by the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
revealed that residents of the president’s home state say they favor
stripping Bill Clinton of his law license. In another poll, a majority
of Arkansans opposed Bill Clinton running for Senate in 2002 against
pro-impeachment Senator Tim Hutchinson.
BILL/HILLARY TO DIVORCE?
After First Daughter Chelsea Clinton decided to skip a semester of her
final year at Stanford University to campaign for her mom, President
Clinton, during a recent press exchange, commented: "She [Chelsea] wants
to be with her mother and me for these last few months of our time
together," Clinton said. Chelsea has already taken a key political role
by giving her father advice on the latest failed Middle East Peace
Talks. Israeli representatives were shocked at the high-profile
"advice" she gave during top-level negotiations.
CLINTON LIBRARY IN LEGAL MESS
The Arkansas Supreme Court is considering a taxpayers’ lawsuit claiming
that the city of Little Rock illegally stole tax revenue to buy land for
Clinton’s presidential library. City officials have moved to buy one
plot of land for $8.5 million. Citizens have not been allowed to vote
in a referendum on these expenditures.
A STREET NAMED ‘CLINTON’ ?
West Hollywood, California is home to homosexuals, liberal radicals, and
other assorted freaks. Now, the city council wants to name a street
after Bill Clinton. Council members recently voted to temporarily
re-name Clinton Avenue to "Bill Clinton Avenue" just in time before the
Democratic Convention.
