CIC believes Vince Foster’s murder and other mysteries causes concern
and CIC hopes for Mr. Letterman’s quick recovery. The country can’t

*CLINTON SQUELCHES FREEDOM ON INTERNET
Bill Clinton may be a lame-duck president, but one legacy he’s leaving
are his dangerous efforts to control free speech and commerce over the
internet. Already, Clinton has signed executive orders on “internet
conduct”; signed legislation restricting registration of domain names;
and has pressured the FEC to consider controlling “political” speech on
the world wide web (which will announce soon its own rulings). Now,
President Clinton is asking Congress for $91 million to train and hire
an army of government computer hackers who supposedly will protect the
federal government’s computers from “cyber-terrorists.” According to
CIC’s Scott Lauf: “In reality, these new computer specialists will
serve as Clinton’s own internet police force which will spy on private
citizens like you and me.”
*STOP THE INTERNET TAX
Taxing the internet has become the latest issue for the politicians in
Washington. It has even become a hot topic in the Republican
presidential debates. Despite his public denials, Sen. Orrin Hatch
(R-UT) has been the leading proponent of an internet tax. He supports
his home state Governor Mike Leavitt’s efforts to tax the revenue of
e-commerce at the state level. CIC’s Jack Clayton urges all supporters
to “e-mail Sen. Hatch and Gov. Leavitt and demand that they publicly
support a permanent moratorium on taxing the internet.” Hatch’s

*OSHA CONSIDERS INVADING YOUR HOME
The Clinton administration has once again displayed its penchant for
trampling on the free market and violating the rights of ordinary
Americans. The Clinton Labor Department proposed that OSHA
(Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulators enter the
homes of telecommuters and home-based businesses to ensure that these
work environments are up to federal standards. Though this letter has
been rescinded, the Clinton administration is well-known for pushing
through its agenda in a stealth and discreet manner. CIC encourages
supporters to call the OSHA complaint line toll-free at 800-321-OSHA
(they do not take e-mail) and demand that the OSHA chief, Asst.
Secretary Charles Jeffress, resign immediately.
*FILTHY FLEECING BEHIND HILLARY’$ NY MOVE
As non-candidate Hillary Clinton moved into her $1.7 million suburban
bunker in posh Chappaqua, NY, last week, the American taxpayer once
again picked up the tab. Helping her move into her NY mansion were
close aides Carolyn Huber and Kaki Hockersmith, both of whom were close
confidants and friends to the murdered Vince Foster. Apparently, Ms.
Huber and Hockersmith will be in charge of decorating Hillary’s new
home. It is still unclear, however, if Hillary has stolen
taxpayer-funded furnishings from the White House for this very purpose.
In addition, taxpayers are also ponying up outrageous sums of money for
Hillary’s security detail. CIC has learned that Hillary’s NY security
team consists of 30 to 40 Secret Service agents – beyond her normal
detail -- and that there are up to 100 agents on a rotating basis
protecting her mansion. “We estimate that these agents' wages alone
are over $100,000 per week!” exclaims CIC’s Linda Whitman. “I urge all CIC
supporters once again to write the following Congressman and Senator
and demand they start officials hearings into this continued fleecing of

*FILEGATE SCANDAL DEEPENS FOR HILLARY
New evidence has further substantiated Hillary’s role in the theft and
illegal misuse of over 1,000 FBI files. In a sworn affidavit, another
former White House staffer, Mrs. Deborah Perroy, has confirmed that
Hillary was responsible for most of the political hiring in the White
House and that she personally hired Craig Livingstone. This information
clearly establishes Hillary’s guilt of perjury, obstruction of justice
and numerous other crimes. The new Independent Counsel is still
investigating Filegate and has left open the possibility of indicting

*ANOTHER CLINTON LAND GRAB
President Clinton has placated environmentalists and foreign mining
companies by designating over 1,500 square miles of land in Arizona and
California as “national monuments.” This effectively prohibits
American mining companies from exploration in these areas as well as restricts
the recreational rights of millions of American citizens. Once again,
CIC is not surprised at Clinton’s brazen abuse of his executive power.
*BILL CLINTON FOR CONGRESS?
Unsuccessful in his efforts to repeal the 22nd amendment in order to
run for a third term, Bill Clinton has already expressed interest in
running for a House seat in Arkansas or challenging Sen. Tim Hutchison (R-AR).
It’s bad enough that Americans have suffered 7 years thus far of the
Clinton presidency. Imagine having to deal with both Clintons in
Congress.
*MILLENIAL MOMENTS FOR BILL & HILL
As Y2K came and went without a major hitch, the establishment press
conveniently blacked-out coverage of some embarrassing moments of New
Year’s 2000. First Lady Hillary Clinton was loudly booed when she took
the stage for the festivities on the Mall in Washington, DC. As for
the fireworks display, many attendees and viewers on TV may wonder why
this millennial light show ended so abruptly. Apparently, Bill Clinton
did not care to see it and it was temporarily halted so Clinton and his
entourage could be taken back to the White House. And, of course, the
party at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue showed no bounds. An unnamed Secret
Service agent accidentally walked in on several partygoers performing
lewd sex acts in a bathroom off of the Rose Garden. The shocked agent
has not disclosed the high-profile names of these individuals nor did
he file a report. Naturally, the agent did not want to lose his job for
doing something right.
