CHINA & CLINTON: ENEMIES OF FREEDOM
Despite communist China’s recent saber-rattling with Taiwan and its
continuing buildup of nuclear missiles pointed at the United States,
Bill Clinton is planning soon to ask Congress to reward Beijing with
permanent Most Favored Nation trading status (a.k.a. “Normal Trade
Relations”). “China’s top general Zhang Wannian has vowed to invade
Taiwan and has directly threatened the security of America,” says CIC’s
Jack Clayton. “It would be an outrage if Congress obliges Bill
Clinton’s treasonous relationship with our greatest enemy.” Clayton is
asking supporters to contact their Congressman and Senators at
http://www.impeachclinton.org/impeach/contact.shtml and demand they
reject MFN for China.
GORE LINKED TO CHINESE CRIMINAL
A federal jury has found long-time Gore friend and Chinese fundraiser
Maria Hsia guilty on five felony counts for funneling more than $100,000
in illegal foreign cash to the 1996 Clinton-Gore campaign. Ms. Hsia
arranged the notorious Buddhist temple fundraiser in which Gore
attended. Though Gore has plead ignorance of Hsia’s illegal practices,
his denials could bring him perjury and conspiracy charges, not to
mention serious troubles in his presidential bid. “It is clear that Al
Gore is just as embroiled in Chinagate as Bill & Hillary Clinton,”
states CIC’s Scott Lauf. “He should be held accountable if he has
committed impeachable felonies.” Lauf is urging backers to e-mail Rep.
Bob Barr (R-GA) of the House Judiciary Committee at
Barr.GA@mail.house.gov and ask that he propose an impeachment inquiry
of Gore.
CLINTON ADMN. COURTS ILLEGALS FOR 2000 CENSUS
Liberal religious leaders across the nation – from Rabbi David
Saperstein to Father Francisco Gonzalez – are doing the dirty work for
the Clinton White House by publicly urging illegal aliens to register
with the 2000 census count. “The effects of these efforts could not be
more profound for American democracy,” states CIC’s Steve Miroy. “If
the Clinton administration succeeds, then dozens of congressional and
legislative districts will be reapportioned to favor the Democratic
party. Congress must take immediate action.” Miroy is asking
supporters to e-mail comments to Rep. Dan Miller (R-FL), Chairman of
the House Subcommittee on the Census, at miller13@mail.house.gov and demand
hearings into the matter.
FEC THREATENS CIC, OTHER WEBSITES
The existence of political websites like CIC’s
www.impeachclintonagain.org and www.stophillary.net , as well as other
groups, is still in peril if the Federal Election Commission enacts its
plans to regulate and restrict political speech on the internet. With
the 2000 election season heating up, CIC believes that the right to free
speech will be severely hampered by the FEC. CIC’s Linda Whitman is
asking supporters to keep up the heat on the FEC by sending comments to
internetfoi@fec.gov and demand they rescind [Notice 1999-24] of the
Federal Register re: the Internet.
MISSING PHONE RECORDS LINKED TO FOSTER DEATH
The White House has refused to turn over to investigators and Congress
thousands of pages of telephone records covering the period of January
1992 through December 1998. These records include calls, made hours
before Vince Foster’s body was discovered by police, informing Arkansas
state troopers Larry Patterson and Roger Perry that Vince Foster was
dead. Though Insight magazine initially reported on these missing
documents as early as December 1998, neither Congress nor the media has
taken interest until now. Both Congressman Dan Burton (R-IN) and
Senator Fred Thompson (R-TN) may begin investigations into the
disappearance of these missing records, including the nearly 100,000
subpoeaned e-mails, within their respective committees. CIC’s Jack
Clayton is urging all supporters to send e-mails demanding immediate
hearings into this latest scandal. Rep. Burton can be reached at
http://www.house.gov/burton/contact.htm and Sen. Thompson at
senator_thompson@thompson.senate.gov
CLINTON ADMIN. PUSHES INTERNET TAX
In a recent meeting with the National Governors Association, President
Clinton expressed his support of those states that wish to tax the
internet. This meeting followed on the heels of a press conference in
which Treasury Secretary Lawrence Summers stated that internet taxation
is inevitable. Currently, there is a temporary moratorium on internet
taxes which lapses in October 2001. The Congressional Advisory
Commission on Electronic Commerce is studying the issue and will
publicize its recommendations in April. CIC strongly opposes all taxes
on the internet. CIC’s Jack Clayton is urging all supporters to e-mail
their comments opposing taxation to the commission at the following
address: pubcom@gmu.edu
HILLARY MARCHES WITH HOMOSEXUALS
First Lady Hillary Clinton snubbed her nose at traditional Irish
Catholics by marching in an alternative homosexual St. Patrick’s Day
parade in New York City. The march was organized by the Irish Lesbian
and Gay Organization, the Lavender and Green Alliance, and three other
homosexual groups. Dozens of offended on-lookers jeered and booed Mrs.
Clinton.
PROMINENT DEMOCRAT DENOUNCES HILLARY
Many supporters of Hillary often compare her campaign to that of the
late Robert F. Kennedy, who ran for Senate in New York in 1964.
However, not all would agree. One of Robert Kennedy’s former Senate
campaign managers, Bartle Bull, has said that Mrs. Clinton “brings
nothing to New York in her carpetbag but a lifetime of dishonesty.”
HILLARY LOSES SUPPORT OF FEMINISTS
Not all feminists are joining the Hillary bandwagon. The Dulles chapter
of the National Organization for Women (NOW) has denounced Mrs. Clinton,
saying that her race “reminded us of the role she played in the
countless scandals tied to a discredited administration.” The NOW
chapter also derided Hillary for her “politics of personal destruction,
the character assassinations, and intimidation and political
persecutions unleashed from the White House.”
PRO-HILLARY POTHEADS PELT PROTESTERS
Three enthusiastic supporters of Hillary Clinton pelted several
anti-Hillary demonstrators with tangerines in Tuxedo Village, NY
recently. The assailants attempted to flee the scene but were promptly
stopped by police who, upon searching their vehicle, discovered large
amounts of marijuana.
CLINTON’S HELICOPTER DESTROYS BASEBALL FIELD
School officials at Sheperd College are irate with Bill Clinton for the
damages incurred on their baseball diamond when the Marine One
helicopter landed there on four separate occasions. They are billing
the Clinton administration for $14,000 for the deep ruts in the field
and the crushing of its sprinkler system. Clinton used the school as a
landing site en route the recent round of Israel-Syria peace talks in
Sheperdstown, WV.
CLINTONS IN DEBT UP TO THEIR EYEBALLS
The most corrupt first couple in American history has reached another
landmark: the most in debt from legal bills. Due to the dozens of
criminal scandals surrounding them since 1993, Bill & Hillary Clinton
have ran up $10.7 million on defense attorneys. And even though their
semi-legal defense fund has been picking up the tab, they still owe
another $4.3 million….
