WAS WACO INVESTIGATOR MURDERED?
Tally another statistic for the Clinton Body Bag. Waco investigator
Carlos Ghigliotti was found dead recently at this laboratory-office in
Laurel, MD. Local police are investigating his death as a homicide and
are awaiting toxicology reports to reveal if he was poisoned. His
friend and attorney David Hardy believes he may have been murdered.
Mr. Ghigliotti was an expert in thermal imaging and had testified before
Congress that his analysis of infrared film at Waco clearly proved that
FBI and BATF agents fired shots into the Branch Davidian compound.
CIC’s Jack Clayton is urging supporters to write, call and fax Rep. Dan
Burton (R-IN) at 2157 Rayburn House Office Building, Washington, DC 20515
Phone: (202) 225-5074 Fax: (202) 225-5074. No e-mail. Ask him to
open a formal investigation into this mysterious death.
CIC BATTLES FEC ON CAPITOL HILL
Members of CIC testified at the May 3rd Senate Rules Committee hearing
on political speech on the internet. Testimony from FEC commissioners
failed to address the over 1,200 public comments the commission has
received. CIC members distributed letters to Chairman McConnell,
attendees of the hearing, and to all 16 office of the committee
members, and this letter was added to the record. CIC is urging supporters to
keep up the pressure by e-mailing the following selected Senators of
the committee and demand they support S.1747 “Internet Freedom Protection
Act.” Please e-mail these Democrats: senator@dpm.senate.gov
(Moynihan),
senator@feinstein.senate.gov ,
senator@schumer.senate.gov and these
Republicans: senator_stevens@stevens.senate.gov ,

WHITE HOUSE STONEWALLS CONGRESS ON E-MAILGATE
Rep. Dan Burton’s House Government Reform Committee held more hearings
this week into the missing White House e-mails. In response to Burton’s
strong protest letters and subpoenas, the White House did drop a
potential executive privilege claim and turned over some hand-written
documents and a disk of Monica Lewisnky’s e-mails. However, the White
House is still stonewalling the committee by refusing to release more
than 246,000 subpoenaed e-mails on Al Gore, Hillary Clinton, Chinagate,
Filegate and other scandals. Clinton officials say they need $10
million to recover the lost e-mails and months of time until after the
November elections to retrieve this evidence. “It is clear the Clinton
White House has plenty of crimes to cover-up,” says CIC’s Steve Miroy.
There should be another impeachment inquiry for this obvious
obstruction of justice.” Miroy asks supporters to e-mail Rep. Bob Barr
(R-GA) at Barr.GA@mail.house.gov and urge him to introduce another
inquiry. Barr is an influential member of both the Reform and Judiciary
Committees. For more information on Rep. Burton’s investigation, please
visit the committee’s website at http://www.house.gov/reform
CLINTON CREATED HIGH-TECH COVER-UP OF CRIMES
It is possible that Dan Burton and other investigators will never
receive additional evidence they have subpoenaed. That’s because the
White House since 1993 has spent nearly $70 million modifying its
computer tracking system in which e-mails of Clinton and his top aides
would not be logged or recorded. The White House has also spent $25
million revamping the telephone tracking system so that the phone logs
of selected aides would not be recorded. This should not come as a
surprise since Clinton, as Governor of Arkansas, rigged his statehouse
office telephone system in 1986 to hide the identity of all incoming and
outgoing calls.
PRO-CLINTON HOMOSEXUALS TRASH NATIONAL MALL
Last weekend thousands of homosexual rights activists, lesbians,
bisexuals and "transgenders" congregated on Washington, DC’s National
Mall to celebrate their sordid lifestyle. The participants of this
freak show reveled to videotaped messages from Bill Clinton and Al Gore
and to live speeches from dozens of radicals. They also left several
tons of garbage. The National Park Service placed trash receptacles at
every block and corner, but the homosexuals willfully threw their
garbage on the ground. The trash tally from this one-day rally was
higher than that of the week-long IMF/World Bank protests.
GORE FLEECES TAXPAYERS TO HELP HIS CAMPAIGN
Al Gore is bilking the taxpayers by tapping the resources of
government-paid workers to assist his campaign. White House staffers
Gene Sperling, Bruce Reed, and others are helping Gore write campaign
speeches and develop proposals on health, education and budget issues.
What Gore is doing is clearly illegal,” says CIC’s Jack Clayton.
These people are on the government’s dime and should not be working on
a political campaign.” Clayton is calling for an investigation and
asks
supporters to contact the Senate Appropriations Chairman Ted Stevens at
senator_stevens@stevens.senate.gov
JUSTICE MEMO URGED INVESTIGATION OF GORE, CLINTON
Former Justice Department official Charles LaBella testified before the
Senate Judiciary Committee that he made a formal recommendation for an
investigation into both Clinton and Gore’s illegal fundraising
practices
during the 1996 campaign. This recommendation was made to Reno in a
July 1998 memo he authored. Mr. LaBella was later fired by Reno.
Despite an official subpoena, the Department of Justice, in predictable
fashion, has refused to turn over this memo to Senate investigators.
PAT BUCHANAN SLAMS HILLARY
Likely Reform Party presidential nominee Pat Buchanan had some choice
words for Hillary Clinton after the First Lady and Rudy Guiliani spoke
at a meeting of the New York Independence (Reform) Party. While all
three candidates are seeking the party’s nomination in their respective
races, Hillary denounced the idea of sharing the same party ticket as
Buchanan. In response, Mr. Buchanan said Hillary was unbecoming of a
First Lady and added: “Who's she to be setting conditions? She could
be indicted in the middle of a campaign. She could embarrass all of us.”
COMMITTEE MAY CUT OFF HILLARY TRAVEL FUNDS
Reps. Bill Young (R-FL) and Rep. Jim Kolbe (R-AZ) of the House
Appropriations Committee have indicated that they may stop funding of
the White House travel office if Hillary does not disclose by May 30th,
and every month thereafter, a detailed accounting of her travel
expenditures. CIC has reported in previous updates that Hillary already
bilks the taxpayers a minimum of $250,000 per campaign trip. “While we
welcome these steps by the committee, CIC believes that all travel
funding should be immediately cut off without conditions,” says CIC’s
Steve Miroy. “Even if Hillary does comply with these congressional
demands, it is likely she will cook the books on her expenses.”
‘HARASSED’ WOMAN GENERAL LINKED TO CLINTONS
Often described as Hillary’s “favorite general,” Gen. Claudia Kennedy is
the highest-ranking woman officer in the U.S. Army. She also has
controversial and possibly illegal business links to Bill and Hillary
Clinton. Ms. Kennedy, who made headlines earlier this year by accusing
a decorated colleague of sexual harassment, has served on the boards of
three companies started by Terence McAuliffe, close crony of Bill &
Hillary Clinton and a major fundraiser for both. Kennedy’s service on
these corporate boards may violate Defense Department ethics
guidelines. Kennedy’s sexual harassment allegations, which she waited
four years to make, are widely viewed by many as a smear campaign
against Major Gen. Larry Smith. “It would be interesting to find out if
Ms. Kennedy is just another Clintonized ‘social experiment’ to
demoralize our nation’s Armed Forces,” comments CIC’s Linda Whitman.
WHITE HOUSE ILLEGALLY LOBBIED FOR CHINA?
At the behest of Rep. Frank Wolf (R-VA), the General Accounting Office
(GAO), Congress’ investigative division, has launched probe into whether
the Clinton White House broke the law by using federal funds for
lobbying. It has been learned that the White House has been operating a
secret “war room” dedicated to influencing members of Congress before
the upcoming vote on China’s trade status. Federal law prohibits the
expenditures of congressionally appropriated money for the purpose of
lobbying elected officials. CIC welcomes this inquiry and urges
supporters to contact their Congressman at
http://www.impeachclinton.org/impeach/contact.shtml and demand he or she
oppose permanent Normal Trade Relations status for China.
CLINTON AIDS LIBYA’s MOAMMAR GADHAFI
The Clinton White House is discreetly aiding Libyan dictator and
terrorist Moammar Gadhafi, according to investigative reporter Cliff
Kincaid. It is alleged that the current trial of 2 Libyan suspects
charged in the 1988 Pan-Am/Lockerbie bombing is bogus and a sham.
Kincaid reports that a not-guilty verdict has already been arranged by
Bill Clinton and UK Prime Minister Tony Blair. Such a verdict would
exonerate Libya as a terrorist pariah in the eyes of the world and would
allow Clinton to re-open diplomatic relations with Gadhafi and pursue
oil drilling contacts.
VICTIMS OF TERRORISM SUFFER MORE FROM CLINTON
Adding further insult to injury, the Clinton White House has also
blocked the ability of victims of terrorists and their families to
collect reparations from terrorist governments despite favorable court
judgments in their lawsuits. One victim of terrorism, former hostage
Terry Anderson, was awarded over $300 million, but the Clinton
administration will not release frozen Iranian assets in the U.S. which
he is entitled to.
WELCOME TO THE CLINTON/GORE BROTHEL OF FUNDRAISING
It’s bad enough that the Lincoln Bedroom was prostituted for the 1996
Clinton/Gore re-election campaign. But now, the White House is reaching
for new heights by soliciting its most wealthy liberal allies for a
record-breaking minimum $500,000 donation per person to the Democratic
National Committee. What’s the quid pro quo? For every Clinton/Gore
donor who plunks down a half million bucks, he or she will get a private
dinner with Mr. Clinton and Mr. Gore.
STARR’s LAW FIRM RAISES MONEY FOR HILLARY
Hillary Clinton has received $32,250 from 33 lawyers at Ken Starr’s law
firm Kirkland & Ellis. Out of all the law firms in DC, Kirlkland &
Ellis has raised the most money for Hillary. “Keeping company with so
many liberals, it’s no wonder why Starr caved in to Clinton while
serving as Independent Counsel,” remarks CIC’s Steve Miroy.
IS ELIAN BEING DRUGGED?
Family members, attorneys, Congressman, and doctors have expressed
concerns over whether Elian is being doped up by his government captors
as he awaits his May 11 asylum hearing. The Association of American
Physicians and Surgeons has asked the Department of Justice and the INS
to disclose the names and backgrounds of all government-appointed
medical personnel who have had contact with Elian. Recently a Cuban
pediatrician enroute to see Elian had his bags impounded by U.S. Customs
officials at Dulles airport when it was discovered that this doctor was
carrying potent tranquilizers and mood-altering drugs.
MCCAIN AS GORE’s VEEP?
Though the prospect is highly unlikely, Al Gore has said that he hasn’t
ruled out the possibility of selecting a Republican as a running mate
and even hinted that his former Senate colleague John McCain might be a
good choice. McCain recently met with Gore, but he has yet to meet, or
even endorse, George W. Bush.
CARDINAL O’CONNOR WILL BE MISSED
America and the Catholic Church have lost a great moral and spiritual
leader with the recent passing of Cardinal John O’Connor at the age of
80. O’Connor was an outspoken opponent of abortion and homosexuality,
two social ills which the Clinton White House has proudly propagated
since 1993. On this National Day of Prayer, let us all remember
Cardinal O’Connor.
