HELP FREE AMERICAN HOSTAGE EDMOND POPE
CIC will be visiting Congress carrying signs with the words "Soviets
say "NYET" to POPE's medication" and will be delivering medication and pain
relievers to the members of the Foreign Affairs committee to symbolize the
medication that the Soviets are denying Pope. CIC hopes all Americans can
help free American citizen Edmond
Pope, who is languishing in Russia’s Lefortovo prison under trumped up
espionage charges. Mr. Pope, a retired Army Colonel and businessman,
was arrested on April 3 while traveling in Russia on a valid visa to
conduct commercial business on the open market. He is in poor health,
suffering from Graves disease and bone cancer, and the Clinton White
House has done nothing to help secure his release or get him medical
attention.
CIC PUBLICIZES BILL TO FREE THE HOSTAGE
Currently, there is a bill in Congress which fights for Mr.
Pope’s freedom – H. Con. Res. 364 – and CIC urges all supporters to
contact their Congressman and Senators and ask for their support of this

JUST SAY “NO” TO PNTR
In a last minute push to stop the treasonous PNTR China trade bill,
members of CIC recently visited selected Senate offices delivering
letters and symbolic Chinese food boxes w/ anti-PNTR messages demanding
that they cast a “no” vote on this legislation. Several amendments
dealing with human rights and weapons proliferation already have been
defeated in order to secure swift passage. Despite the uphill battle,
CIC's China Project Director D.J. McGuire urges you to contact their
Senators and ask them to cast a vote on American principle – not for the
Clinton White House and Red China lobby. A final vote is expected next week.

GORE-GATE: SWAPPING PREZ. VETO FOR $100,000
Recently publicized fundraising “call sheets” document Al Gore’s
attempts to solicit $100,000 from wealthy Texas lawyer Walter Umphrey in
exchange for President Clinton’s veto on product-liability legislation.
Not only has the Vice President violated federal campaign laws, he has
egregiously abused his office by peddling influence over legislation to
the highest bidder,” says CIC’s Jack Clayton. CIC is calling for a

LAZIO LASHES OUT AT HILLARY
As the New York Senate race heats up, Rick Lazio has finally shown a
little “chutzpah.” In their first debate on Wednesday night, Lazio said
Hillary was an embarrassment to the country with her 1998 denials of her
husband’s behavior and her vicious attack upon her “vast right-wing
conspiracy” opponents who seek the truth. Lazio also targeted Hillary’s
shady fundraising practices by challenging her to sign a pledge to limit
unregulated donations. Current polls show the race is a virtual dead heat.
LINCOLN BEDROOM: THE SEQUEL
New allegations have surfaced that Hillary Clinton has been rewarding
top campaign contributors with overnight stays in the White House
Lincoln Bedroom and at Camp David. Naturally, Hillary has denied that
the Lincoln Bedroom has been rented out to her top donors. However, it
has been revealed that a New York couple, Richard & Lisa Perry, was
rewarded with a stay in the Lincoln Bedroom in 1999 after contributing

‘MISSING’ FOSTER COMPUTER POINTS TO MURDER
New evidence has emerged to strengthen CIC’s “Report to Congress” that
Vince Foster was murdered. Foster’s computer hard drive, which was
missing since 1993, has finally been turned over to OIC investigators so
Robert Ray can issue his final report on Whitewater (which deals with
Foster’s possible obstruction). What is most telling, though, of the
information so far retrieved on the computer is the fact that Foster had
planned a date with his wife on the day he died! This new evidence
clearly contradicts the official cover-up version that Foster committed suicide.”
CONSERVATIVES TARGETED BY FBI OVER DNC BREAK-IN
The New York City offices of the Democratic National Committee were
recently burglarized and had several computers stolen. Despite the fact
that local police attribute this break-in to simple robbery and not
political shenanigans, Clinton’s FBI has been called in to investigate
and is unfairly targeting conservative critics of the Clintons and
Gore. Staffers at radio station WABC in New York, home to conservative
talk show hosts Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity, were subjected to hours
of heated questioning and accusations.
CLINTON CALLS FOR WORLD ARMY
Speaking before hundreds of world dictators, tyrants and assorted
premiers and prime ministers at the recent U.N. Millenium Summit,
President Clinton proposed the creation of a U.N. world army which would
supercede the rights and sovereignty of the American people. CIC
believes the only way to preserve American independence is for the U.S.
to get out of the UN. Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) has sponsored the American
Sovereignty Restoration Act (H. R. 1146) which calls for the U.S. to
withdraw from the U.N. CIC urges supporters to e-mail the following

CLINTON, CASTRO GREET EACH OTHER
During the UN summit, Clinton also found time to briefly meet and chat
with Cuban dictator Fidel Castro. “This is outrageous! Castro should
have been arrested when he set foot on U.S. soil,” says CIC’s Scott
Lauf. “Instead, he is welcome with open arms.” It is expected in
Clinton’s waning days that he will attempt to breach the current embargo
to open up friendly relations with the communist dictatorship.
UNDERCOVER HILLARY OPERATIVES TARGET PROTESTORS
Secret Hillary operatives, posing as New York residents, have been
engaging anti-Hillary protestors on the campaign trail, sometimes with
violent results. Several anti-Hillary demonstrators who have tried to
attend a few public campaign events have been threatened, intimidated
and even assaulted. But these attacks have hardly been spontaneous
reactions by so-called Hillary fans. Take, for example, Resi Cooper,
who poses in the friendly New York press as just a plain old “Hillary
supporter.” She is actually a paid Clinton staffer who is task with
coordinating these public attacks against Hillary’s opponents.
LEGAL SLEAZE AIDS GORE CAMPAIGN
Greg Craig, infamous attorney for Bill Clinton during impeachment and
counsel to Elian Gonzalez’ father, has been hired by the Gore campaign
to give advice during its “weekly strategy sessions.” Craig is
well-known for his Carville-like attack-dog politics. “George W. Bush
should be worried,” says CIC’s Steve Miroy. “Craig is a master at
shielding his criminal clients and at the same time destroying the lives
of his opponents.”
GORE RELATIVE TARGET OF COCAINE PROBE
Reminiscent of Clinton’s ties to the 1980s Menagate drug smuggling, Al
Gore is being linked to possible drug dealing in his home state of
Tennessee. Gore’s maternal uncle Whit LaFon (who is very close to young
Albert) is currently under investigation by federal and state law
enforcement agencies for his alleged role in cocaine dealing and money
laundering. There are several questions, thought, that investigators
should be asking: Did Al Gore know of his uncle’s dealings? Did he
profit from this? And in related news, Nashville radio talk show host
Phil Valentine has linked Gore with members of the so-called “Hillbilly
Mafia,” some of whom now face racketeering charges.
WILL TRAITOR POLLARD BE FREED BY CLINTON?
There has been much speculation that Bill Clinton, in an effort to woo
and solidify Jewish voters in New York for his wife’s campaign, may
grant clemency to convicted spy Jonathon Pollard. Traitor Pollard
gravely endangered U.S. national security in the 1980s by selling
secrets to Israel, which in turn sold them to Russia and other foreign
enemies. Some Jewish Americans believe Pollard should be freed. While
Hillary has taken no “official” position, sources have revealed that she
has used her powers to gain Pollard better prison treatment and possible
clemency. New York pollsters generally concur that any statewide
candidate must receive at least 60% of the Jewish vote in order to win.
Most polls have tallied Hillary’s Jewish support at 54% or less.
E-MAILGATE: BACK-UP TAPES MOVED OUT OF WH
The ongoing investigation and civil litigation regarding the E-mailgate
scandal continues to reap more evidence of wrongdoing. A recent report
by WorldNetDaily.com has revealed that the White House has been rotating
network back-up tapes of e-mails every two weeks to computer facilities
in Maryland. This practice has allowed for the strong possibility that
these subpoenaed tapes have been tampered with or destroyed.
ELIAN RELATIVES IN LEGAL BATTLE W/ RENO
Elian Gonzalez’ Miami relatives have won a legal round in federal court
against Attorney General Janet Reno, Deputy Attorney General Eric Holder
and INS Chief Doris Meissner, all of whom were responsible for Elian’s
violent kidnapping last April. A federal judge halted a motion of
discovery and is allowing the $100 million lawsuit against Reno and her
government agents to proceed.
CLINTON BOOED AT THE U.S. TENNIS OPEN
Always the man to seek public adulation, President Clinton instead
received a loud chorus of boos when he recently visited the U.S. Tennis
Open in Queens, NY. While most of the “mainstream press” ignored this
public shaming of Clinton, several liberal outlets (including the
Associated Press), had the audacity to report that Clinton received
star treatment’ from the crowd.
