New Polls Show Americans are Disgusted with Clinton!
Jack Clayton, CIC's liason with the U.S. Senate, visited all 100 offices
of the Senate yesterday with a compilation of excellent polling data.
The best kept secrets today about President Clinton's "popularity" are
the real polls which measure the true sentiments of the American people,
and are rarely reported by the national yahoos on ABC, CBS, NBC and CNN.
The highly accurate pollster John Zogby has found that:
- 42% of Americans are “ASHAMED” that Bill Clinton is President; 40% are proud; and the rest have no opinion.
- 63% believe he lied before the grand jury
Another Zogby survey has shown that public disapproval of the way the
Democrats have handled the impeachment trial has risen by 9 points,
confirming an USA Today/Gallup poll that 45% of Americans disapprove of
the Senate Democrats.
In a recent FOX News Poll, there were equally startling results:
- 70% of Americans believe Clinton committed perjury
- 56% believe he will lie again
- 49% say he obstructed justice
- 67% say Republicans should not be punished for pursuing impeachment
- 48% say if Clinton was removed from office, it would “not at all” affect them
Clearly, if the Senators are worried about the “polls,” they would be
wise to heed these results. A majority of Americans believe Clinton is
a perjurer and a liar, and nearly half believe he obstructed justice.
It is also relevant to note that it is the Democrats, not the
Republicans, which will be more at risk in the 2000 elections.
