ELIAN DEEMED “POSSESSION OF THE CUBAN GOVERNMENT”
Top Cuban official Luis Fernandez, spokesman for Fidel Castro, has
arrogantly stated on record that Elian Gonzalez is “a possession of the
Cuban government.” This frank admission confirms what the liberal media
fails to report: that the father Juan Miguel Gonzalez has no parental
rights. As of the release of this CIC internet report, Bill Clinton and
Janet Reno are still organizing U.S. Marshals and South Florida police
officers and preparing to forcibly seize Elian from his Miami home.
Five military helicopters have been hovering on several occasions over
the house in order to intimidate pro-Elian demonstrators. “Elian has
stated repeatedly he does not want to go back to Cuba!” exclaims CIC’s
Steve Miroy. “If the rule of law had any value in this case, then
Congress would allow Elian the right to a political asylum
hearing, or to have his final custody be decided in a family court.
Perhaps this Congress or the Clinton gang should study the case of Walter
Polovchak.” During the height of the Cold War, a 12-year-old Ukranian
boy named Walter Polovchak refused to return to the Soviet Union with
his parents, and was eventually allowed to stay in the U.S. CIC is

WELCOME TO THE “BERLIN WALL” OF BETHESDA, MD
On a recent visit to the Bethesda, MD neighborhood where Elian’s father
is staying at the home of the top diplomat of the Cuban Interest
Section, CIC reports the area has been blocked off like a secret
military fortress. The 7900 block of Millwood Road and all adjacent streets are
barricaded and guarded by Maryland police
and U.S. Secret Service, who are acting on orders from the White House.
Even the media is cordoned off, and residents have to go through
checkpoints to get to their homes. “It’s like the Berlin wall right here
in America!” says one CIC representative who visited there. “Phony
press photos of Elian’s father sitting on the front steps relaxing are
nothing but propaganda. He is basically a hostage. Suppose he did
decide to defect, he would have to sprint the length of five football
fields just to get to freedom.” Congressman Lincoln Diaz-Balart has
stated that Juan Miguel Gonzalez’ attorney Greg Craig (Clinton’s
impeachment attorney and John Hinckley’s former lawyer) “provided
Castro with sufficient guarantees that U.S. security personnel would
make certain that Elian’s father would not be allowed to defect.”
POLL: MAJORITY OF AMERICANS WANT ELIAN TO STAY
Contrary to liberal media polls, a recent on-line poll conducted by
NewsMax.com has revealed that the tide of public sentiment has shifted
in support of letting Elian stay in America. The results concluded that
76% (62,970 respondents) were in favor of Elian remaining in the U.S.,
and 24% (19,544 respondents) wanted him deported back to Cuba.

Tens of thousands of demonstrators have descended upon Washington, DC to
protest the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Bank (WB) and

MARINE HELICOPTER CRASH LINKED TO CLINTON
This last weekend 19 Marines were killed when their MV-22 Osprey
aircraft crashed during a late-night training mission over the Arizona
desert. The United Press International has reported that four of the
Marines on-board, two pilots and two co-pilots, were assigned to the
Helicopter Squadron One in Quantico, VA, whose prime responsibility is
operating the Marine One helicopter used by President Clinton. This is
not the first time that top pilots who have shuttled Clinton around the
Washington area have died under tragic circumstances. In April 1999
Major Marc Hohle, who piloted Clinton in his first term, died in a
helicopter crash in Okinawa, Japan. In August of 1999, Lt. Col. Mark
Cwick, another Marine One pilot, was killed in a tragic car crash near
Fredericksburg, Virginia. The Associated Press at the time reported
that an unidentified vehicle forced Cwick’s car off the road where “he
swerved into an embankment and hit some trees.” And in March 1999,
Marine Cpl. Eric Fox, a helicopter crewman for Marine One, died with a
gunshot wound to his head; but his death was ruled a suicide by
authorities in West Virginia where his body was found. “It’s quite a
stretch to think that all of these tragedies just happen to be
coincidences,” says CIC’s Jack Clayton. “CIC sends our prayers to the
victims’ families and pledges support for a full and complete

GORE’s & LEWINSKY’s E-MAILS LOCKED INSIDE WHITE HOUSE
In a sworn affidavit, top White House security chief Charles Easley has
acknowledged that a small portion of the more than 100,000 missing
e-mails are locked in his office safe at the White House. These
e-mails, in the form of printouts, are those to and from Al Gore’s
office, as well as those to and from Monica Lewinsky. This
incriminating evidence has yet to be turned over to Congress, in
addition to the back-up tapes, zip drives and phone records which
haven’t been located. CIC is urging supporters to write the following

HILLARY MAY BE DISBARRED IN ARKANSAS
The Arkansas Supreme Court, which is already considering disbarring
President Clinton, has acknowledged that they are also considering
Hillary’s disbarment for her criminal role in the Whitewater scandal.
The court’s ethics committee is finally acting on a complaint originally
filed in 1996 by a conservative legal organization. CIC is encouraging
supporters to write and call the committee (they have no e-mail) and
demand they disbar both Bill & Hillary for their numerous crimes and

HILLARY’S COLLEGE THESIS HIDDEN FROM PUBLIC
When Bill Clinton was inaugurated President in 1993, Hillary Clinton’s
1969 college thesis from Wellesley College was immediately sealed to
prevent public access and viewing. Does the First Lady have something
to hide from American public, especially now that she’s running for the
U.S. Senate? According to author Barbara Olson, Hillary’s thesis
centered on her hero, radical Marxist Saul Alinsky, who was legendary
organizing numerous extreme leftist demonstrations. But Alinsky is most
renowned for his teachings on accumulating political power through any
means necessary. Some of his most anti-democratic tactics include lying
and deceiving the public; ridiculing and defaming your opponents; and
polarizing people into belligerent groups. “It seems that Alinsky’s
teachings are the source of Hillary’s campaign strategy,” comments CIC’s
Linda Whitman. “It is quite sad to see how Hillary has deliberately
polarized New Yorkers by race and religion.”
POLLS: HILLARY GAINS MORE SUPPORT
Race-baiting by Hillary’s campaign and media scrutiny of Rudy Giuliani’s
handling of the police shooting of Patrick Dorismond has furthered
propelled Hillary Clinton to a 49% to 41% margin over Giuliani,
according to a recent New York Times/CBS poll. The disparity widens to
a 3-to-1 margin for Hillary in just New York City alone.
GORE’s BUDDHIST NUNS INDICTED
Two Buddhist nuns, who welcomed Al Gore at the infamous temple
fundraiser and helped solicit illegal campaign money for the 1996
Clinton-Gore, were recently indicted by a federal grand jury for
contempt of court. Like dozens of other fundraising figures, both nuns
became fugitives earlier this year and fled to Asia. Al Gore crony
Maria Hsia has already been convicted for her illegal role in the
fundraising scandal. To help remind Americans of Gore’s complicity in

CUBAN DRUG DEALER LINKED TO CLINTON & GORE
In January of 1996 the Drug Enforcement Agency arrested Cuban drug
smuggler and Clinton donor Jorge Carbrera for trafficking three tons of
cocaine into the United States. While detained, Carbrera confessed that
Castro knew of and approved of his drug smuggling and that the dictator
was complicit in dealing with the Cali cartel. With this shocking
information, one might expect the United States government to target
Cuba in the “war on drugs.” Instead, at the behest of the White House,
all investigations into Cuba’s participation of illicit narcotics
dealing were dropped. In addition to being a high-profile drug dealer,
Sr. Carbrera is also famous for being a big-time donor of Clinton and
Gore. In 1995 he gave $20,000 to the Democratic National Committee,
wined and dined with Al Gore in Miami, and met Bill & Hillary Clinton at
a White House reception.
‘TWISTED SISTER’ ENDORSES GORE
Vice President Al Gore has picked up the support of the raunchy and
crude (but now defunct) 1980s heavy metal band, Twisted Sister.
Transsexual former lead singer Dee Snider and fellow bandmates cited
Gore’s strong pro-abortion and extremist environmentalist policies as
reasons for their strong backing. In an ironic twist, the band was once
target by Gore and wife Tipper in the mid-‘80’s for their offensive lyrics.
WILL CLINTON BE INDICTED AFTER HE LEAVES OFFICE?
Independent Counsel Robert Ray, who replaced Ken Starr last year, has
stated that his office is still actively investigating the Monica
Lewinsky scandal and is considering indictments of Clinton on perjury
and obstruction of justice when he leaves office. “It would be a
miracle if Ray actually followed through on this,” says CIC’s Steve
Miroy. “The Office of Independent Counsel has excused Bill and
Hillary’s more serious crimes in Filegate, Travelgate, Whitewater, and,
most importantly, the murder of Vince Foster. Why should Americans have
confidence that he’ll do the right thing with this scandal?”
LANDOWNER RESISTS CLINTON LAND GRAB
Mr. Eugene Pfeifer of Little Rock, Arkansas owns the last 2.9 acres of
the 27.7 acres of the “proposed” site for the Clinton Presidential
Library. Clinton officials have been strong-arming Mr. Pfeifer to
budging and has taken his case to court. According to local law, he is
arguing that Clinton’s library does not fulfill any “public purpose,”
and that the voters should have been allowed to approve any future
expenditures for its construction.
DEMOCRAT PROPOSES AGENCY TO INVESTIGATE JANET RENO
Rep. James Traficant (D-OH) has introduced H.R. 4105 in Congress
establishing the “Fair Justice Agency” which would independently
investigate all the crimes committed by Janet Reno and the Justice
Department since 1993. CIC has taken no position on this bill as we
believe it is Congress’ duty, not a new federal agency, to conduct
oversight of the executive branch. Nonetheless, CIC applauds the
efforts of Congressman Traficant to hold Janet Reno accountable for her
crimes, and hopes that other members of the President’s party follow in
his footsteps.
MEXICAN TROOPS SHOOT AT U.S. BORDER PATROL
Last month Mexican troops illegally crossed into U.S. territory and
fired at two American border patrol vehicles near El Paso, Texas. This
shocking incident was completely ignored by the liberal press and
elicited no diplomatic protest from the Clinton administration. It is
well-known that many Mexican military officers and policemen are
corrupted by the powerful drug cartels south of the border. Recent
reports indicate that several Mexican cartels offered a $200,000 bounty
for the killing of Border Patrol agents and taking their bodies back to
Mexico. “It is an outrage that Clinton did nothing in response with our
policy towards Mexico,” says CIC’s Mike Neal. “It makes you wonder
the depth of Clinton’s corruption when he recently re-certified Mexico
for its supposed ‘war on drugs.’”
HYDE RELFECTS UPON SENATE’S IMPEACHMENT DEBACLE
In a recent interview with the National Journal, chief impeachment
manager Rep. Henry Hyde (R-IL) has expressed his frustration and
confusion over why the Senate acquitted Clinton for perjury and
obstruction of justice charges. “Ever since impeachment, I can’t guess
where they [Senators] are headed,” states Mr. Hyde. “I have never had
any relations with the Senate --- I mean they are over there and we are
over here. They are East Timor; we are West Timor.”
