*WHITE HOUSE COVER-UP EXPOSED!

Another criminal scandal has hit the White House. According to former White House computer manager Sheryl Hall, Clinton officials deliberately hid nearly 100,000 e-mails with sensitive information about Chinagate, Filegate and Monica Lewinsky, and which was all under subpoena by a federal grand jury and three congressional committees. President Clinton, in his natural form, has lied about knowing or ordering this massive criminal cover-up. The independent counsel and the House Government Reform Committee have already begun formal investigations. I believe these felonies are part of a massive obstruction of justice operation orchestrated by Bill and Hillary Clinton,” says CIC’s Jack Clayton. “I implore all supporters to immediately contact Rep. Burton’s committee and urge him to subpoena the testimony of Mr. Clinton and the First Lady in upcoming hearings.” Contact Congressman Burton at http://www.house.gov/burton/contact.htm

*CLINTON’S CYBER-“BIG BROTHER” IS WATCHING YOU

With one more year to go, Clinton’s “legacy” may be remembered most for his chilling effects on free speech and commerce over the internet. In order to combat “cybercrime,” Clinton and Janet Reno have created LawNet a collection of government computer “experts” who will police the internet for suspicious activity and share information with the FBI and other law enforcement agencies. “This is clearly Big Brother at its worst,” says CIC’s Steve Miroy. “They are not targeting cyber-criminals and hackers. Their real goals are to tax the internet and regulate political speech.” Perhaps Clinton is taking his cue from the United Nations, which has just recently advocated banning “hate speech” on the internet and forcing political web sites to obtain special permits.

*PLEASE VOTE IN YOUR UPCOMING PRIMARY

* Or Run For High Office Yourself?

The stakes are high this primary season. The choice to succeed the most corrupt president in American history may be determined in the coming weeks. That is why CIC is now reporting in a bi-partisan manner. It is important to report or expose any character flaws the candidates may have–on a bi-partisan basis,” says CIC’s Scott Lauf. “…America’s next president must not be like Bill Clinton—we are all agreed on that. Yet members of the Clinton team like Hillary and Al Gore act like they are angels who can do no wrong!”

What are the options? You can vote for President in a Republican primary, a Democraticprimary or participate in the Reform Party process. Or sit it all out and decide among these three nominees and independents in the Fall. Or you can run for federal office, Senator or Congressman, yourself. It is not too late for supporters of the impeachment of President Clinton, before and again, to decide to run for public office themselves.

*BUSH MISUSED CAMPAIGN FUNDS—Not Really!

Recently disclosed records have indicated that George W. Bush spent thousands of dollars from his governor’s campaign account throughout 1999. Nearly $300,000 from his gubernatorial account was spent on his presidential political consultants. This is supposed to be a potential violation of federal campaign finance laws. “We are to believe that a sitting Governor of a large state can not pay major consultants and is “cash poor” and has to use his state campaign funds at the same time he is running the most expensive campaign in U.S. history? Members of Congress and the news media need to focus on Hillary and Al’s estimated expenditures of three hundred million dollars ( $300,000,000), in taxpayer funds, for travel, lodging, staff, and secret service protection, because they are not disclosing any of this in any of their campaign reports,” says CIC’s Jack Clayton. Ignoring an amount 3,000 times the number talked about in the Bush camp seems more efficient for our FEC” or “IRS” types. But that would require integrity and the guts to take on the Clinton Machine.

*KEYES MISAPPROPRIATED $$ IN PREVIOUS CAMPAIGNS? How?

Compared to his rivals, Alan Keyes is probably running the most honest and principled campaign this election season. But the media tried to trip him up previously . In his 1996 presidential campaign, Keyes paid himself $20,000 out of his campaign fund – but quickly returned it when it was publicly disclosed. During his 1988 and 1992 Senate campaigns in Maryland, he accorded himself a salary of $8,000 a month. Though his actions were not illegal, and disclosed in his reports: the news media acted like they were crimes. Imagine the same standard if it were applied to Al Gore who raised money in a temple using his government office or Hillary Clinton who reportedly ordered the murder of her top aide Vince Foster. There is no limit to the amount of money spent for the Clintons personally. One overseas trip cost as much as $50,000,000 – to China.

*BRADLEY, GORE, BUSH, MCCAIN RAKE IN LOBBYIST DOLLARS

With the exceptions of Pat Buchanan and Alan Keyes, the rest of the presidential candidates have received money from corporate lobbyists all the while railing against those “special interests in Washington.” According to recent disclosures for 1999, Bill Bradley collected $97,275 from lobbyists; Gore got $592,325 and Bush received $529,853. John McCain, who has made campaign reform the cornerstone of his campaign, is asking lobbyists for cash. Though in 1999 he received $117,858 from lobbyists, he raked in nearly $500,000 from corporate lobbyists in one night last week at the Willard Hotel in Washington! Ironically, this is the same hotel where the term “lobbyist” was coined more than 100 years ago--- where swarms of corporate money-men would confront the politicians when they entered the hotel’s lobby.

*CIC CRITICIZED FOR MCCAIN COMMENTS

Below are comments from several subscribers who took exception to our recent comments about John McCain. [CIC welcomes and appreciate all comments. Feel free to send e-mail to info@impeachclinton.org ]

Your comments about McCain, as with all the rest of the Republican elite, is a disgrace….As for Commander in Chief, I want a seasoned veteran, not a weekend warrior.” --- R.J. Massimo, Albuquerque, NM

It seems to me that you are a Bush fan. GW Bush Sr. is in favor of one world government. And there is no doubt in my mind that Bush Jr. is also.” --- Denise Mountcastle

You have made a mockery of your website and lost all credibility with your insane attack on John McCain….Hooray for your attacks on Clinton, but don’t compare someone with honor, a true hero, to a socialist godless coward like BC.” --- C141Wife@aol.com

* ‘MCCAIN IS A VIETNAMESE AGENT’ ? Impossible!

The Cambodian Khmer Rouge have alleged, and so have several POW/MIA groups, and long-time conservative activist Paul Weyrich that McCain could be a Vietnamese Agent. Even several retired veterans like former Special Forces Sgt. Ted Sampley, concerned about these charges, have written letters to the Navy asking that McCain be stripped of his medals. In truth, Weyrich mentions it in passing in his column as the rumor it is. McCain has released his medical records and there is no evidence of his mental instability in all his years of public policy staff positions he has held or from being in the U.S. Senate where people like Ted Kennedy would report you for spitting if you were a Republican. “You can’t both get angry and be as forceful on a daily basis according to the previous published accounts and also be a quiet stooge for Hanoi or Moscow, said CIC’s Steve Miroy.

* DID GORE LIE ABOUT FUNDRAISING ?

The Chinagate scandal is catching up to Vice President Al Gore – which is still making headlines in the ongoing trials of several Chinese fundraisers. In interviews with the FBI in 1997 and 1998, Gore denied being present when political aides discussed illegal fundraising. In probably the lamest excuse on record, Gore said he drank too much ice tea and was relieving himself in the bathroom when these discussions took place.

* MRS. CLINTON, GORE CAMPAIGN TOGETHER

Mrs. Clinton and Al Gore are campaigning together in New York in an attempt to appeal to minority voters. Apparently, strategists from both campaigns believe this is mutually beneficial. “This is actually surprising,” says CIC’s Linda Whitman. “One would expect Gore to make an effort to separate himself from Bill & Hillary’s scandal-tainted records. But it seems he’s content to champion them.”

* IS CLINTON MASTERMIND OF WIFE’s CAMPAIGN ?

Such an assertion may be hard to believe considering that Mrs. Clinton has been co-president for nearly 8 years and has been able to persuade her husband to carry out her wishes. However, NBC’s Tim Russert says he has no doubt that Clinton is the mastermind behind his wife’s campaign because of his powerful connections in New York state. Always the power-hungry politician, Clinton is discreetly investing some of his post-presidential powers into the election of his wife.

*HILLARY – CLOSET ATTORNEY GENERAL ?

Jerome Zeifman, former Democrat lead counsel in the Watergate hearings and supporter of Clinton’s impeachment, has written an excellent article charging that Hillary Clinton has secretly been running the Justice Department and that Janet Reno is a mere puppet and figurehead. Imagine what powers Hillary may wield behind closed doors if elected to the Senate? To read Mr. Zeifman’s essay go to http://www.federal.com/feb14-00/story3.html

*ANOTHER LAWSUIT AGAINST WHITE HOUSE

Paula Jones has joined Juanita Broaddrick, Gennifer Flowers and numerous other plaintiffs in filing suit against the Clinton White House. Ms. Jones alleges violation of her privacy because the Clinton Administration refused to honor her requests to obtain any government files on her. This is not surprising to members of CIC who requested in 1998, under the Freedom of Information Act, to obtain our files but were promptly denied.

*SUPPORT CITIZENSHIP FOR ELIAN GONZALEZ

CIC is urging all supporters to contact their Congressman and Senators and demand they support S. 1999 and H.R. 3531. These bills would grant citizenship to Elian and would save him from deportation. Congress must act soon as a federal judge may deny his asylum request. Contact Congress at http://www.impeachclinton.org/impeach/contact.shtml
