*CIC ASKS SENATE TO STOP “FEC GAG” OF INTERNET
The Citizens’ Investigative Commission (CIC) visited the
offices of the U.S. Senate delivering cloth-bound “gags” symbolizing the
Federal Election Commission’s (FEC) proposal to restrict political
speech on the internet. CIC started with Sen. Boxer’s office.
The “gags”accompanied CIC’s letters asking Senators to support S. 1747
the “Internet Freedom Protection Act”
which will safeguard free speech on the internet from the
unfair imposition of campaign finance laws. “The right to speak freely about
political candidates on the internet should remain sacred, and no federal agency
should suppress our voices just because of the Gore-Clinton 2000 elections.”
CIC’s Jack Clayton is urging again that all supporters “contact your Senators and
demand they support S. 1747. Please call, write, fax or e-mail your

*HILLARY’S WRATH SILENCES TALK RADIO
The radio talk show host Tom Bauerle of Buffalo, NY (WGR-AM) has been
canned from his regular morning talk show less than two weeks after
interviewing Hillary Clinton. As CIC reported , Mr. Bauerle infuriated
the First Lady by asking if she ever slept with murder victim Vince
Foster or if she ever used illicit drugs. Hillary, of course, said “no” ---
but not before telling Mr. Bauerle that she "hated" him. Today, Mr. Bauerle
is hosting a sports talk show….where talk about hockey and baseball won’t
insult the First Lady. If a Republican had done this, the entire Federal
Communications Commission would be in Buffalo tearing up the radio station license. Congress
should immediately summon the FCC down to find out why they are allowing
Hillary Clinton to control the radio air waves they belong to the people.
*HILLARY DECLARES ON A SUNDAY?
CIC’s Linda Whitman says “Today, a Sunday, Hillary announced for Senator,
but whether the real reasons are to be a Senator, Vice President or even
President, Hillary is making a power play which all Americans should fear.”

*NEW POLL BACKS CIC ON FOSTER
According to a new poll by the renowned John Zogby, it was found that
75% of Americans believe Vince Foster was murdered. This finding
clearly supports CIC’s 1997 “Report to Congress” which detailed the
evidence of Foster’s murder and exposed the cover-up into the case by
the Clinton White House and Ken Starr.
*CLINTON TO BE DISBARRED?
Eight months ago CIC became one of the first organizations to advocate
the disbarment of Bill Clinton. Now, it appears the Supreme Court of
Arkansas is finally taking action. “Clinton has obstructed justice,
committed perjury and was held in contempt of court by a federal judge,”
notes CIC’s Steve Miroy. “It would be an outrage to allow him to
practice law when he leaves the White House.” CIC is still collecting
disbarment petitions and is urging all supporters to write again to the
Arkansas Supreme Court:
